2. Chandranath Hill & Temple
Chandranath Temple is only 5 Kilometers away from the Sitakunda Eco Park. According to Hinduism, Sita’s right arm fell in this place after her self-immolation. Therefore, it is one of the ‘’Shakti Peeth’’ and a pilgrimage site.
Shakti Peeth is the place where, according to Hindu myth, Sita’s body parts fell after her self-immolation. In total there are 51 Shakti Peeths across the sub-continent. 7 of them are in Bangladesh.
This beautiful temple is situated over Chandranath Hill which is 1,020 feet (310 meters) above sea level. That makes it the highest peak of Chittagong. This hill is an eastern part of the Himalayas.
Climbing the stairs all the way to the temple is the biggest challenge and the most exciting part as well.

Rangamati is one of the famous & beautiful hilly districts of Bangladesh. It is also the largest district of Bangladesh with a volume of 6,116.11 square kilometers.

Another beautiful travel destination in Chittagong is known as Bhatiari. The most mesmerizing attraction of this lace is the natural lake known as Bhatiari Lake. It is just 20 minutes away from the city which makes it a convenient tourist attraction.

5.Kaptai Lake
Kaptai lake is situated in Kaptai which is in the Rangamati district. It's the largest man-made lake in South Asia with a huge volume of 11,000 square kilometers. The lake was created as a part of the Karnaphuli hydroelectric project.
It's surrounded by beautiful green hills. The hilly areas combined with the sparkling water of Kaptai lake creates the ideal atmosphere of vacation.

Hire a boat and just tell your boatman to take you to Suvolong waterfall, then take lunch at Peda Ting Tong Restaurant, and lastly take you to Lake View Island.
